The Slow Descent

Sleep Easy

"The art and science of restoration."

Rest is not the end of effort; it’s the beginning of healing.

We often chase sleep like a finish line — screens off, lights dimmed — yet the body remains on alert. Sleep Easy was created for the soft threshold where wakefulness must dissolve into safety.

This tea doesn’t sedate; it teaches calm. Chamomile, lavender, and nettle whisper to the nervous system: you are allowed to rest now.

Origin Story

From the Silent Side of the Himalaya

On the shaded slopes of Tehri and the mid-hills of Mussoorie, time moves slowly before nightfall. Chamomile, lavender, and wild nettle are gathered and dried gently so their aroma compounds stay alive — the scent of slowing down.

Lyfas scans revealed that even after midnight, many bodies remain "on call": sympathetic tone high, recovery low. The missing piece wasn’t willpower — it was permission.

Sleep Easy became a physiological invitation to safety — letting the day end you, kindly.

The Biology of Calm

When Calm Becomes Measurable.

Sleep is less about hours and more about readiness. Three herbs guide the body into its own relaxation cascade.

🌼

Chamomile

The Fluid Calm

Rich in apigenin and bisabolol, chamomile engages GABA pathways to quiet neural firing and soothe digestion.

Prepares the body for descent into rest.

💜

Lavender

The Scent of Safety

Linalool-rich lavender calms the limbic system, easing sympathetic charge and enhancing slow-wave sleep.

Aroma alone signals that the night is allowed to begin.

🌿

Nettle

The Mineral Restorer

Packed with magnesium and potassium, nettle replenishes what stress drains, grounding the ethereal calm of chamomile and lavender.

A Three-Step Descent

  • 1. Soothe — quieten thought and muscle tension.
  • 2. Slow — soften heart rate and breath rhythm.
  • 3. Restore — nourish the mineral and nervous system base.

Ritual use showed an average 20% rise in RMSSD and 18% drop in Stress Index within 40 minutes.
